I am currently Manager of User Experience at Nikola Motor Company where we are developing hydrogen fuel cell and battery electric semi-trucks that will shape the future of the trucking industry.

I want to help tackle (intended) the most pressing challenges that our world is facing using emerging technology rooted in human centered design. Through my education at the Stanford Design (d) School and in my career thus far, I have developed technical skills in addition to core design abilities that aide me in my pursuits to creatively solve problems. This creative confidence has embedded itself into the way I see the world and how I approach each project.

From a young age, science fiction captivated me. Sci-Fi not only offers a glimpse into the exciting possibilities and new inventions of the world, but enables us to consider the design and effects of current and developing technologies and the role they will play in our future. It can help prepare us for problems we may not anticipate. This perspective is something that I keep in my design toolkit at all times.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife, playing or watching sports, fishing, taking pictures of the milky way, hiking, PC gaming, exploring new disciplines, reading, and working on my own projects - particularly those involving woodworking or tinkering with my E-bike.
